Shipping Charges: For those of you who plan to send us a check covering your merchandise and shipping costs, we will provide a list here of the weights you should use to calculate UPS shipping charges. Here's how to do it.

First, look at the list of products and find the piece you want and its shipping weight.

Next, visit UPS and click on "Rates"

The origin point for UPS is "York Haven" and the Postal Code is "17370"

Be sure to click "Residential Address = Yes" after you put in your city and zip code

On the next page, click on "Retail Outlet" for the Drop-Off point

Select "Your Packaging" for the "Package Type"

Put in the package weight that corresponds to the product you want

Put in 10 x 10 x 10 for the carton size (we've already adjusted product weights to reflect our larger cartons

Look for the UPS GROUND charges and use that figure for the shipping charge.

Now add in the carton/handling charge. See below for the listing:

Small cartons: $2.50

Wood-hinged cabinet, Pendulum Clock,1776 PA Cabinet: $6.00

Tavern mirror: $7.50

3 ft. shelf: $10.00

4 ft. shelf: $11.00

Sled, Shaker Clock: $10.00

These prices represent my actual cost for the shipping cartons. Finally, Pennsylvania residents should add 6% for state sales tax. (It's all much simpler if you use our on-line ordering. You can use the on-lne ordering and at the end tell us you'll pay by check, or have us call you for your credit card details.)
