Pipe Box - circa 1770's:

Found in Cumberland county, Pennsylvania, this pipe box is an example of those found in most taverns and inns in Colonial America. The pipes, usually made of clay, were stored in the top and tobacco was stored in the drawer. The colors shown here are Colonial Blue, Newberry Red, and Cupboard White. Each box measures 16-1/2"h x 4-1/2"w x 4-1/2" d. Price: $65

Below you can see the spoon boxes, shown in York Red and Cupboard White. They gave families a convenient way to store and carry cutlery. They're priced at $41.95 each, and each one measures 5"h x 11-1/2"w x 8-3/4" d.
