shaker clockShaker Clock with Pendulum:

This clock is a copy of one made by Isaac Youngs in 1840. He was one of a very few Shaker clock makers and worked at the Shaker Colony in New Lebanon, NY. The Shakers didn't permit watches (they were deemed an unnecessary indulgence), but clocks helped support punctuality and were kept in dining halls and common rooms. On the back of the dial on the original Isaac Youngs clock you would find the following verse:
O Time! How swift the solemn day rolls on
When from these mortal scenes we shall be gone!!

The clock shown here is finished in York Red. It features a face with Roman numerals and measures 30"H x 13"W x5"D. Price: $325

Victorian Sled-circa 1800's:

An authentic design of a child's snow sled from the American Victorian period. Some people may recognize its similarity to "Rosebud" from the film Citizen Kane.

This sled measures 40"long by 15-1/2" wide by 5-1/2" high. It is finished in Candlelight pine, with Spruce Green and York Red. Price: $295
